Meet Emily and Stephen, two remarkable young adults who have found their footing in the workforce with a little help from Workskills.
Emily began her journey with us at Troublesmiths – our social enterprise, where she gained valuable experience and skills. Now, she’s confidently paving her way in the hospitality industry, enjoying a role that suits her ambitions.
Seeing the impact Workskills had on Emily, her brother Stephen was inspired to seek support, too. Recently returned to Tasmania from the mainland, he found the local job market a bit challenging to break into. That’s when our Employment Coach, Hannah, and Employer Service Officer Akshay, stepped in. Together, they guided Stephen through networking and job placement, securing him a promising role in the construction industry.
Both Emily and Stephen are thrilled with their outcomes.
