Today, we are featuring Jade, one of our remarkable participants, as she takes a significant step towards her dream career. Jade’s story is a testament to the power of embracing learning.
With the support of Richard Marriott from All Taz Training, Jade’s ability to operate an excavator was assessed for working on NBN contracting. Richard assessed Jade’s ability to dig trenches, per the instructions from a prospective employer who was meeting them on-site for a second interview.
Jade completed the “How to Safely Operate an Excavator” course with Workskills recently, and this comprehensive training program equipped her with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to excel in her chosen career path. Now, she has the opportunity of employment.
What makes Jade’s story truly remarkable is her unwavering dedication to learning. With her mentor’s help, she recognised that the journey to achieving her dreams would require hard work, persistence, and the willingness to learn and grow. She fully utilised every opportunity to expand her knowledge and sharpen her skills.
