Chris has returned to work after being unemployed for almost nine and a half years (494 weeks). Thanks to the guidance of his Employment Coach, Charlotte, and the assistance of Akshay, our Employer Services Officer, Chris secured a job at Hobart Cleaning Services in January.
But that’s not all! Chris has been on a roll lately. He worked with us to sort out his driving license, completed his Certificate II in Hospitality, and even started volunteering with the neighbourhood centre.
Chris is beyond thrilled about his accomplishments, and rightly so! He playfully quipped that he would give props to the service and the program for all the support. He was also generous to note the team’s great attitude in helping him overcome his barriers to employment.
We’re very excited to see Chris back in his element and feel confident enough to take on the world!
