“Teamwork makes the dream work”. Our Workforce Australia Services Employment Coach, Trevor, connected the right people to the right job, and quickly the magic unfolded. When Metro Tasmania conducted information sessions with us to fill in the bus operator roles, Trevor knew exactly whom to link them with. And there he was, Don – a friendly, punctual, and easy-to-get-along-with person. From the initial screening, Don was very keen on the opportunity and succeeded in all the interview rounds, but his Medium Rigid (MR) heavy vehicle licence test got trickier and trickier.
Natasha, our activity champion, expertly guided Don through the process he had been struggling with for several attempts. Thanks to the Program Support team’s valuable contribution, Don could successfully ace the process, and he will be starting his training with Metro next week.
