Today, we would like to celebrate Sharon’s journey with us.
Sharon has been connected with #WorkskillsTasmania and, through this support, is embarking on a new journey towards a successful career. With the help and guidance of her employment coach, Gilda, Sharon has now transitioned to Disability Employment Services (#DES). This program is more specifically customised to her unique needs, bringing her closer than ever to achieving her desired career path.
With Gilda’s support, Sharon undertook a new Employment Services Assessment (ESAt) which more accurately reflected her circumstances and identified several barriers impacting her ability to achieve her career goals. Alongside this, Gilda supported Sharon to access support through Forbes Hall Counselling and Psychology to support her immediate needs. Based on this work and in consultation with Sharon it was identified that the DES program would be more suitable and customised to Sharon’s needs.
We are grateful to have been a part of Sharon’s journey and assisted in ensuring she receives the best support possible. We would like to wish her all the best with her journey!
