What this picture doesn’t capture is the amazing camaraderie that has developed between these women, Samantha’s recent exciting news of gaining a role at BPO Care and a positive outlook for her housing situation brought tears of joy from all three of them—a moment that truly captures the impact we achieve in our community every day.
Samantha commented that “Leisa is absolutely amazing and I’m so blessed she took me on and I think I have a friend for life” when asked about her experience.
After 515 weeks of unemployment and struggling with housing insecurity to now flourishing in a job she adores, Samantha’s resilience is nothing short of awe-inspiring. Samantha has faced numerous challenges with persistence and dignity. Despite those challenges, she’s remained steadfast in her goals, harbouring immense respect and gratitude for her supporters, even during moments of self-doubt.
With a young family, Samantha was looking for a job that accommodates her child’s schedule. Supported by her coach, Louisa, to address her barriers she struck gold when referred to our ESO, Leisa who was able to connect her with an employment opportunity. With the support of our team, Samantha has secured an admin position tailored perfectly to her needs and aligned with her previous experience and passion. Samantha has already made an impact in her role, boding well for the future
